Yanru’s dancing life started around 8 years old in China, and she was selected in the People’s Liberation Army Academy of Art the following year. Yanru spent five years with the Academy and then she was selected by the Canadian National Ballet. Unfortunately Yanru’s parents thought it was too far to go to Canada, so she remained dancing with the Academy for a further six years before leaving for university and Europe, but always continuing to dance, teach and choreograph both in Italy and the UK.
Now Yanru enjoys teaching, and loves to share her experience and help students strengthen on basics and enjoy dancing. She loves to bring a mixtures of ballet styles into class, to create monthly routine of classes, in order to give students opportunities to work on different aspects in the class.
