Hannah grew up in Canberra and trained at Lisa Clark Dance Centre, in her final year also making regular trips to Melbourne to be apart of the Australian Ballet School Interstate Program. At 16 she was accepted into the New Zealand School of Dance which allowed her to complete a two year Certificate in Dance Performance as a classical major and work with a number of renowned choreographers, including Nils Christe (NDT). Following that, her focus changed to contemporary movement, which took her to Sydney to train in the Sydney Dance Company Pre Professional Year. Her final dance endeavour was a 6 month contract with a contemporary junior company in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Today, Hannah is in her final year of a university Bachelor in Environment and Sustainability, maintaining a focus on movement primarily through yoga and pilates. Within dance, she loves teaching at CDT with a focus on the freedom of movement and dance expression within classical technique.
