Kristy Scandrett trained at the Ritz Performing Arts in Brisbane, in all styles of dance. She completed the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabi in Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Theatrical Dance and Tap, including obtaining ‘Supreme Pass’ for the Blue Sash award. She was also a member of the Queensland Ballet junior extension program.
