Fusako Skelton


Fusako began her classical ballet training in her home town in southern Japan. In 2000, Fusako was accepted to The Bolshoi Ballet School(МГАХ) in Moscow, Russia, and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Dance and achieved the highest possible rating of 5 star excellence. Fusako started her professional career as a corps de ballet dancer in K-Ballet Company based in Tokyo, and quickly rose through the ranks, being cast in soloist roles in her first year.

Fusako also spent time dancing in Europe and joined the Vienna Festival Ballet comany as a principal dancer, where she performed the lead in “Swan Lake” and “The Sleeping Beauty” in national tours of the UK. Fusako now runs her own ballet studio “Ballet Masters GC” based on the Gold Coast. She also travels nationally and to Japan as a guest teacher and choreographer.
