CDT Studio
Canberra Dance Theatre has opened in new premises on the corner of Barry Drive and Kingsley Street in Canberra City.
Studio Facilities
- The studio is 121 square metres in floor area (11 m x 11 m).
- Heating and airconditioning
- Barres, mirrors, an MP3 compatible sound system, and a Harlequin dance floor.
- Two sides of studio fitted with ceiling to floor windows, providing plenty of natural light.
- Men's and women's dressing rooms, toilet, and a kitchen off the adjacent foyer.
- Fully wheelchair accessible.
Studio Location
Parking at CDT
Limited free public car parking is available for general use in the Toad Hall Car Park across the road from CDT after 5.30pm Monday to Friday and all day on weekends. Enter via Kingsley Street. Please do not park in the resident’s car parks. There is also free parking after 5.30pm directly across Barry Drive in the car park on the corner of Watson Street.
Pick up and drop off is available on the layover immediately in front of the CDT building. Avoid parking here as this is a loading zone and you may be fined.
Public car parking is available in the ANU exchange Car Park from 7am to 7pm. Cost varies depending on length of stay. Enter via Kingsley Street. Come up the stairwell to reach the CDT front door. Hours of operation of this car park will be extended to 10pm later in the year.
Pay parking in also available in the Multi-story car park on the corner of Childers Street and Allsop St. Entry via Allsop Sreet. An alternative is a pay and display car parking on the corner of Barry Drive and McCaughy Street, which may be useful for Monday to Friday daytime classe. Entry via McCaughy Street.
