Quake Belly Dance
Quake is a Canberra-based belly dance troupe that originated in (or is losely linked to) CDT. They perform at functions, parties, markets, fundraisers and hen's nights. Quakes performances are colourful, fun and energetic with spectacular costumes. They specialise in cosmopolitan Egyptian cabaret-style belly dance to the modern Arabic pop music as well as Western music.

Hilal Dance Canberra
Hilal Dance Canberra develops theatrical works with a modern edge drawing on the essence of Egypt’s indigenous dance cultures using the language of Hilal Dance. They regularly perform at regional events supporting the Canberra Dance Theatre and work as independent artists.

Gypsy Dance Stageshow
This dynamic dance troupe performs a variety of Rom(gypsy)-inspired styles, from the passion and fire of Flamenco, and the balletic elegance and skirtwork of Russian Gypsy, to the sensuality of bellydance. Their performances draw on elements of all these styles, and mix in tango, jazz and burlesque for a truly entertaining experience. The Modern Gypsy Dance style was created originally by dancer Rita Markwell, and is now an evolving tradition under the new generation leadership of Doriane Ranaivoharison. Gypsy Dance Stageshow has performed widely at national and regional festivals in Canberra, Sydney, and across the East Coast.
