Georgia was born in Canberra and began dancing at the age of four at Canberra Dance Development Centre. After studying there for twelve years, she joined the New Zealand School of Dance. During her time at NZSD she was an exchange student at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto. Georgia was offered a contract with the Royal New Zealand Ballet Company after two years at the school and joined the company as the 2016 Todd Scholar. During her two and a half years with the company she danced roles in Andonis Foniadakis’ ‘Selon Desir’, Alexander Ekman’s ‘Cacti’, ‘Tuplet’ and ‘epsiode 31’, Glinda the good witch in Francesco Ventriglia’s ‘The Wizard of Oz’, Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg’s NZ restaging of ‘Giselle’ and Liam Scarlett’s ‘A midsummer nights dream’, among others.
