Elizabeth Fellows

Ballet

Elizabeth began studying Classical Ballet (RAD) at the tender age of six years old at Ann Roberts School of Dancing in Townsville, North Queensland, and maintained her love for ballet throughout her school years and beyond. While studying for her BSc at James Cook University, Elizabeth continued to study ballet, but also performed in a number of musical theatre productions with Townsville Choral Society and North Queensland Opera and Musical Theatre Society. In 2007, she joined Ulysses, the performance arm of Ann Roberts School of Dance, performing in a range of styles including contemporary, can-can and classical-inspired-chorus-line.

After moving to Sydney in 2008 to commence her PhD in Chemistry, Elizabeth took ballet and contemporary classes with Sydney Dance Company, and was an active member of the Movement and Dance Society at Sydney University. Elizabeth has been dancing with CDT since moving to Canberra in September 2011, and is a former Board member. When not teaching or attending ballet classes at CDT, Elizabeth can be found nerding it up over the latest science.
