Azrianne Rahman

Azrianne started dancing in Sydney at the age of seven at her local dance school, focusing on jazz ballet, flamenco and classical ballet and performed at various eisteddfods including the National Folkloric Festival. She trained and undertook graded examinations in the Cecchetti ballet method.

After a break to focus on her studies, Azrianne returned to dancing in her early twenties by taking open adult classes at the Sydney Dance Company and Adult Ballet Studio in Sydney and at the City Dance Centre (with Adrian Fryer and Mary Renouf) while living in Melbourne. She has been a regular at the Canberra Dance Theatre for a number of years. Returning to dance as an adult, she loves seeing the joys and challenges that the discipline of classical ballet can bring to adult beginners.
